How we make money

Referral links

The Coffee Company is a discovery and education site. We do not sell coffee. When a roaster runs an affiliate program and approves us, the "Buy from…" button on their profile carries a referral tag. If you buy after following it, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.

What that does not mean

• It doesn't buy placement. Roasters cannot pay to be listed, ranked higher, or recommended by the taste quiz.
• It isn't a rating or an endorsement of quality beyond what we say in our own words.
• It doesn't change your price.

Right now, on this build

No affiliate programs have been approved yet, and every roaster shown is fictional sample content. Because of that, outbound buy buttons are deliberately inactive and labelled as unavailable rather than pointing anywhere. A single, clearly marked development link exists only to test that the redirect works.

Where purchases happen

Entirely on the roaster's own website. They set prices, take payment, ship the coffee and handle returns, refunds and any support question. We have no order, payment or shipping role, so we do not publish shipping or refund policies — the roaster's apply.

What we record

A click on an outbound link records the roaster, the placement on our site, and the time. Nothing about you. We do not currently receive or claim sales attribution data; if that changes when a partner integration exists, this page will say so.
