What we collect

Draft for founder review. This describes exactly what the current build does. It is not legal advice and should be reviewed before launch, particularly for state privacy law obligations and a data retention period.

Your email, if you give it

If you sign up for updates, we store your email address, the fact that you ticked the consent box, the time you did so, and which page you signed up from. We use it only to send the updates described at signup. We do not sell or rent it.

Roaster applications

If you apply to be featured, we store what you type into that form — business name, website, contact name and email, location, your story, any affiliate program note, and your permission to contact you — so a person can read and reply to it. We do not ask for banking details or compliance documents.

Outbound link clicks

When you follow a "Buy from…" link to a roaster, we record which roaster it was, where on the site the link appeared, and when. That's it. No email address, no quiz answer, and nothing that identifies you personally is attached to that record.

Your quiz answers

The taste quiz runs entirely in your browser. Your answers are never sent to us, never stored, and never placed in a URL or analytics event.

What we don't do

No advertising pixels and no third-party ad trackers.
No session replay or heatmap recording.
No accounts, no logins, no profiles.
No selling or sharing of personal data with third parties for marketing.

Third parties

Submissions are stored in our hosted database. When you follow an outbound link, the roaster's own site and its affiliate network apply their own policies — read theirs before purchasing.

Removing your data

Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. To have a submission deleted, reply to any email we send you and ask, or send us a message.
